Dana Point Community Now Open for Tours Daily

SAN DIEGO (Dec. 11, 2017) – South Cove, Zephyr’s condominium community featuring 168 luxury residences in the heart of Dana Point, is now open. The community welcomed more than 1,250 guests during its grand opening weekend Dec. 9-10, which featured catering from Lattes on Location, a Pixster photo booth, entertainment and more.

Prospective buyers viewed the model homes, learned more about the community and had an opportunity to win a piece by internationally acclaimed surfing, beach and environmental photographer, Aaron Chang, who also created a collection of photographs exclusively for South Cove homeowners. Sailing lessons at Westwind Sailing, a gift certificate to Coastal Kitchen and a custom South Cove beach cruiser were among the prizes.

“We’re thrilled to open our doors to the community,” said Sales Manager Marcie Cole. “South Cove is the first project of its kind to be built in Dana Point in more than 25 years, and the excitement around it has been incredible. We received such positive feedback from buyers who have been waiting for an opportunity to buy in this stunning coastal town, and be able walk to Doheny State Beach and Dana Point Harbor.”

Now selling Phase I, South Cove is located at Del Obispo and Pacific Coast Highway – directly across the street from Doheny State Beach – and features three product types: “Aliso” flats, “Trestles” townhomes and “Strands” twin homes – each ranging from one to three bedrooms with 883 to 2,341 square feet.

All residences have attached garages and top notch interior finishes and accents, with select homes featuring indoor/outdoor floorplans, balconies, porches, rooftop decks, idea spaces and options for beach rinses, dens and more. Ten residences will feature live/work space fronting Pacific Coast Highway.

South Cove residents will also enjoy a multitude of onsite amenities, including a resort-style swimming pool and common areas throughout the community, and outdoor enthusiasts will have access to miles of walking/bike paths, plus ocean sports like surfing, paddle boarding, fishing and more.

With several homes in Phase I already sold, pricing on the remaining Phase I residences ranges from the low $900,000s to $1,555,990.

Owners will also have immediate access to a new public park that is being built through a partnership between Zephyr and the city of Dana Point. The park, which will border the community, will feature art and installations that pay tribute to the surf culture and celebrated history of the city, with life-size sculptures depicting surfing pioneers like Phil Edwards and Bill Limebrook.

Located at 34202 Del Obispo Street, South Cove is now open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Wednesday when the community is open from 12 to 5 p.m. Private tours of the available homes in Phase I are also available by appointment.
