Zephyr Announces the Release of South Cove Phase 3
June 14, 2018
SAN DIEGO (June 11, 2018) – Zephyr, creators of South Cove, Orange County’s premier barefoot living destination and Dana Point’s newest coastal home community, today announced the public release of Phase 3, which will bring thirteen new homes to market. Select homes in Phase 3 were privately released to a waitlist of pre-approved buyers and sold immediately, further cementing the fact that South Cove offers the most in-demand product in the South Orange County and beyond.
With delivery slated for December 2018, Phase 3 homebuyers will have the opportunity to hand select their finishes in order to achieve truly bespoke, seaside sophistication. Releasing in Phase 3 are three unique floor plan types: “Aliso” flats, “Trestles” townhomes and “Strands” twin homes. Select Aliso flats feature first level flex space, while others feature a 3-bedroom floor plan, with all living spaces on one level. The Strands homes, which border the west of the community, feature ocean views, rooftop decks, and stunning California rooms—the epitome of true indoor / outdoor coastal living. Most homes are upgraded and can include first level beach rinses, dumbwaiters, and La Cantina bi-fold doors.
The two and three-bedroom floor plans available in Phase 3 range from 1,404 to 2,126 square feet, with prices ranging from $932,990 to $1,374,990. Opened in December 2017, South Cove has experienced incredible sales success, with Phases 1 and 2 currently 83% sold out.
“The feedback we’ve received from buyers throughout Phases 1 and 2 has been overwhelmingly positive. Whether they’re seeking a full-time residence or just a weekend home, our buyers love the proximity of our community to the beach, happy hour and outdoor activities,” said South Cove Sales Manager Marcie Cole.
Walkable via the Dana Point Pedestrian Bridge or under Pacific Coast Highway on the San Juan Creek Trail, homeowners are able to make it from front porch to Doheny State Beach, with surfboards and beach toys in tow, in a matter of minutes. With one of the state’s most famous beaches as an extension of their front yard, this new home community is perfect for those who enjoy an active lifestyle and outdoor activities. Not only will South Cove homeowners enjoy laid-back luxury in their new coastal home, but they’ll also be within arms’ reach of an outdoor surf museum and public park. To memorialize and pay tribute to the unique surf culture in the city of Dana Point, Zephyr has entered into a public-private partnership with the City of Dana Point to build an incredible outdoor surf museum that borders South Cove and fronts Pacific Coast Highway. With ten life-sized bronzed sculptures of famous surf legends, including Phil Edwards and Bruce Brown, plus a life-size Hobie Cat sailboat with Hobie Alter at the helm, this public plaza will become a historic landmark for Orange County. Complimenting what will be called “Waterman’s Plaza” is “Pacific Coast Highway Plaza,” which will mark the official start of the Pacific Coast Highway with a replica of the Richfield Oil Tower punctuating the famous highway upon entry to Dana Point.
Located at 34202 Del Obispo Street, South Cove is now open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Wednesday when the community is open from 12 to 5 p.m. For more information or details on the homes released in Phase 3, contact the sales team at 949-393-2239 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit livesouthcove.com.
