March 08, 2019
Zephyr, the developer of South Cove in Dana Point, has begun work on Phase 5, which will bring 20 new homes to market, including six live-work units, by year’s end.
Floor plans currently for sale at South Cove range from 883 to 2,030 square feet, with prices ranging from $640,990 to $1,399,990. Phase 5 floor plans include the styles Aliso, Trestles and Strands.
Opened in December 2017, South Cove has seen most of Phases 1-4 sell, the developer said in a statement. The entire community, with 10 phases to complete, will add 168 homes to the city.
The live-work units in Phase 5 will border the community’s west side and face Waterman’s Plaza, a park that will include an outdoor surf museum. Plans for the museum include 10 life-sized bronzed sculptures of famous surf legends, including Phil Edwards and Bruce Brown, plus a life-size Hobie Cat sailboat with Hobie Alter at the helm.
