As any native will attest, surf culture is woven into the fabric of Dana Point, with surfers from around California and the world traveling to experience the famous “killer waves” for themselves. Featured in the well-known surf documentary “The Endless Summer,” Dana Point’s celebrated Doheny State Beach was also mentioned in “Surfin’ USA” and “Surfin’ Safari” – two iconic Beach Boys songs.

The plaza and park will include art installations featuring famous surfers from years past. “Breaking” in 2017, we will continue to update progress here, on The Barefoot Buzz.
